Design Team Call for Just Scrapbooking

Just Scrapbooking is seeking creative scrapbookers to join our talented Design Team for a 6 month term commencing the 1st of December. Previous DT experience is not essential, just so long as you are motivated, talented and enjoy contributing to a team, and are keen to try new techniques and be challenged.

Each month we will give you a DT pack and as a minimum requirement you will need to complete at least 2 layouts per month. Double page layouts and card sets could also be thrown into the mix and off the page items may be requested. From time to time you may be asked to help out at demonstrations and special events but teaching experience is not essential. Our DT Members are given a discount on purchases from Just Scrapbooking for the term of their contract.

How do you apply?? Collate a portfolio of your work containing at least 8 layouts and bring it into Just Scrapbooking no later than 5.00pm on Monday 1 November. Please include your name, daytime contact, email address and a short scrapping bio, because we are interested to find out more about you (ensure current DT commitments or previous experience is listed). Good Luck!! The Team will be announced in the week beginning Monday 8th of November.

If u know me.. you will know that October Afternoon papers are right at the top of my favs list.. always has been i wasnt to fussed on this range to start with.. but WOW.. im loving it.. cant put it down.. even hassled our famous Lou.. to put some away for me.. (big hugs chickee!!) heres a look at what ive come up with this weekend.. ALL PAPERS AND EMBELLISHMENTS ARE IN STOCK UP AT JUST SCRAPBOOKING.. last time i looked.. no theres defiantely some there.. :)

A few weeks ago i contemplated on taking on the office role as OFfice Manager as i said comtemplated.. lol but i dont think family wise any of us ready for me to take on such a huge commitment and demanding position.. i will sit back on 2 in charge for a while i think.. lol but the last four weeks i stepped up to the plate and took full time office manager on till our new manager arrives.. (so glad i didnt apply) but i have learnt heaps and look forward to stepping down from that short fill in real soon.. hence why theres been no photos or anything from me.. early starts and really late finishes..

I have always known gaz was amazing..now i have proof lol...

MY 5D arrived a week ago.. i missed the first delivery by 10 minutes.. arrgh.. and decided i couldnt go another day with out my new camera .. id waited 3 months for it to come.. it was suppose to arrive in the states at kevs place in texas when gaz was there and by the time gaz got there and he left the camera was half way to its desination .. so we had it redirect back to daily digital and it then took another month and a half to get here.. so on the friday night i left work an hour early grabbed riley from day care and proceed on to belmont north in the midst of traffic it took an hour and a half to get there with litterally 3 minutes to spare i walked in to the FED EX dispatch and signed for my package.. i could hardly contain my excitement..

and the kids loved it.. (worrying..) hands off its mummys.. lol and they ended up having just as much fun with the box..chanel was the perfect model displaying mums new pride and riley.. with his sad face .. cause he couldnt have it..

NOthing to fabulous some shots of lozzy chanel and freya.. i have only edited these in picasa...

these shots have been taken using the canon EOS 400D and the lense is EF-S18-55m i shot all of them of the P-programmed auto but i adjust the white balance and ISO settings

took them all out in full light where there was a lil shade.. not that happy with some of them .. but u get that.. right.. lol

... so i have decided to change the direction of my blog..

i want to look back as i progress with my love of photography and the changes and styles i have adapted.. i will still share my scrapbooking but there will be more posts dedicated to pics that pages.. iukwim.....dont get me wrong .. i love to scrapbook and my work will still be in bons gallery and over at just scrapbooking

Today we went & checked out my BGF new school.. AUstin Cove Baptist in south yunderup her first year of teaching and shes going to be teaching Year 1's in a gorgoeus new school... so CUTE... year 1s are adorable...

After checking out the school site .. we headed down to fairbridge heritage farm.. our NEW 40 Acre block backs onto this and had a great day with the kids going feral screaming and crying.. (one of those afternoons .. i told my girlfriend id hitch a lift home.. lol and get the kids when i got back.. rofl...

long times in between posts.. life is full on at the moment..lots of the kids friends over at the moment..love those days.. gaz is away we have just put our 14 acres up for sale.. i have always said my adorable hubby has small man sydrome.. rofl we are also in the midst of purchasing a 40 acre property cause u know.. 14 acres is too small.. apparantly.. lol I was lucky enough to have my lil sis baby sit on friday night so i could catch up at a bug night at Just Scrapbooking.. i couldnt help but purchase one of the new ranges we have in store.. the GIRLS PAPERIE.. heres a page from my purhcase.. I know we also have the new cosmo cricket range arriving tuesday fingers crossed.. i have already preorderd my paper pack .. :) and have u seen the new basic GRey ranges coming out.. .. since i blogged.. life is kinda busy with gaz home.. plus we have 3 birthdays in this house this month.. and 5 other family members.. so its presents .. systems.. all go.. riley is just as much fun as ever keeping us ALL on our toes.. the wonderful thing about birthdays.. is the family time.. memories treasure..
