I have Finally got to use my Tim Holtz Grunge board I used denim distress ink on the letters and vintage photo on the may road vineyard scrolls these are 2 of my boys Kurtis and Riley..

Tim Holtz Stamps Arrived

I have been waiting .. no not quite the right word hanging out for my stamps to arrive from stampers anonymous and a courier arrived with them at my door today what a fantastic early christmas pressie the only draw back its chrissy eve and i cant play for at least another few days heres a pic of what i ordered

A Dressed Table????

My friends that dropped by yesterday thought I was mad setting up my table for Xmas Eve on the 23rd... I had to race back to spotlight on the 23rd as the table cloth I bought was centermeters to short on each end of the table ... I wanted to set it up early so if there was anything i needed i did not have to race around the shops on the Eve of Christmas .. Plus i get longer to admire all the effort I put in before everyone destroys it all.... as it was i also went to the shop to buy new glasses so they all matched new santas i thought they would make a great little embellishment on the table. I cant wait to see all my families faces when they see the table this year i think my scrapbooking is extending into all diff areas of my life, hence how nicely the table is done this year. I have to say I have gone all out cheers everyone enjoy your day. PS My hubby got me the white candle i then decorated them and he was suprised how nice i made them... a bit more faith please.. Instead of Chrissy Cards for the Kids at Skool

Does all the craft mess in the first photo look interesting? I made one of these at my LSS on Friday night at thier Christmas Party... I came up with the idea that these would be great instead of christmas cards... 90 packs later time consuming YES, will I make these next year yep they have lollies inside of them and all the kids in Chanels pre primary loved them, even her teacher asked me for the template which is really really simple. I have even had my Mum and kids help me make them. Thanks mum for all your help nothing like pulling together.

Photography Excursion

These are some of the shots I took of the Mandurah Mariner with my photography class. We learned so much more out on the field.. It was all done between 7 and 9pm... having 5 kids this time of evening and being around like minded people was heaven.. Im off to do some editing in GIMP (the shot of the pillar i have already edited to the best of my ability at present LOL) which takes me hours at the moment...have a great week

I also just purchased stampin ups going out in style set @ $20.. BARAGIN as it is discontinued however i thought they would go great with this paper range...

Here is one of my first new christmas cards for the year... i used bazill, some christmas paper from last years supply the new queen & felt co snowmans and punched some circles to stick him on using my cricut.. and a bit of red ribbon.. with some sewing i love my sewing machine

My latest layout the photo is from our christmas photo shoot last year. Only 3 weeks left of my photography course, cant wait unitl next year as the course goes into much greater detail. I love the gimp editing and of course good old picasa. Gimp is amazing and is a free download.

Its a Pirates Life

Wedding Anniversay

When I awoke this morning, this is the wonderful surprise i saw waiting for me .... Thanks honey best pressie ever... 11 years later and you still keep suprising me. This photo was taken by premier studios in Banjup WA when our little Riley was no more than 6 weeks old he is now 8 mnths and compared to this photo he now looks like a big monster. Chanel looks like one of those children from the Anne Geddes calendars. If you click on the image it will enlarge and you will see why I love this shot. Premier Studios are an amazing photography team and the day we spent with them was amazing, they made us feel really important talking to us all the way through the photo shoot ( and they took a heap of shots) it was on the costly side but well worth it .. Also as mentioned in previous post the Advent calendar is now on display in the off the page gallery which if you scroll down is on the right down the bottom of the page ... christmas is not far away now

I have to say starting up a blog was not the easiest of things to do - my brain is now fried. Getting Started

I wanted to create a place to share my art..... I love checking out other peoples blogs so hopefully someone will enjoy what I have to share ... and what a day to get started halloween all my kiddies are off to scare some neighbours, and I'm heading out to do my photography course - for beginners with my girlfriend Suzi and Mary... my photos are going to get better now watch out kids.
